Many think that it is simple to build a Haunted House (Horror Shows , Monster Mazes, Fright Fests, Ghost Shows, Terror Tents, Scare Carnivals and Haunted Hayrides), dress it and put actors in it and call it an event. This is done, many times over, during October across the nation. Unfortunately, not all of these stay open from season to season, or even through their first season in some cases, due to code violations, improper licensure or just badly designed Haunts that don’t attract the crowds because their scares are insufficient to impress and entertain the customers.

It takes much more than fancy sets and elaborate make-up and costumes to make a Haunted House effective. While these items can certainly add to the experience, there are many other tried and true methods that can make a haunt, even those on a leaner budget, much more effective through skillful preparation and application. If budget is of no concern, then we can help you to ensure that none if it goes to waste, but instead delivers the maximum impact to give you your moneys worth.

There are so many details, small and large, that need to be addressed to have a horrifically successful Haunt. It’s best to start the planning and preparing as early as possible. January or February is usually ideal, but later starts will work just fine. In fact, our fastest build, and shortest notice, was 3 days, with no preparation, a potpourri of props and no set built (not even panels to build from were availble when we walked in the door).
